Griffin Kennels is Canine Care Certified.
Griffin Kennels is kennel number 118 of 225 currently in the United States certified and regulated by the Canine Care program. This program is to ensure all dogs are not only cared for, but that the dogs' mental well beings are being met as well. This is a voluntary program to hold ourselves to the highest standards found in the US. In order for our Kennel to maintain our certification, we must meet or exceed rigorous standards for physical and behavioral welfare of our dogs, in areas such as nutrition, veterinary care, genetic screening, housing, handling and exercise. With this higher standard, we have very strict protocols for biosecurity. For this reason Griffin Kennels is a "Closed Kennel". Meaning we only meet offsite for customer relations. Please feel free to do your research on their website. It will be time well spent.
Kennel 1
Kennel 1 was the original.
This kennel is home to our smaller dogs. Labradors and Golden Retrievers.
Kennel 2
Second Addition
Kennel 2 is our second added kennel. Largest kennel and stronger than Kennel 1 to house our large breeds, Mastiffs and Danes
Kennel 3
Newest Kennel Addition
Kennel 3 is our newest added kennel. Located behind Kennel 2, this Kennel has longer runs to have space for the Shepherds to run.
Whelping Building
Newest Addition
We are proud to introduce out newest building. This "state of the art" building is where the mommas birth our pups, and your newest members of your family. Easy to clean, and equipped with washdowns for easy sanitation. As well as custom made doors for ease of use, and heated concrete to keep the pups warm. The heated concrete lets us move away from traditional old heat lamps and use a safer more regulated temperature for the newborns. Also including a water filtration system to ensure the pups have the most pure drinking water possible. This building is well insulated, and has multiple HAVC units for maximum climate control.
